Located in the heart of the Maurienne valley, on the heights above Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne, the Château du Vigny, formerly a wine-producing farm, has been restored into a guesthouse.
At the foot of the Croix des Têtes, the Château du Vigny boasts a stunning view of the Fort du Télégraphe and the ski slopes of the Valloire-Valmeinier ski area.
Whatever the season, our location is ideal for discovering the riches of the valley.
- In winter, the many ski areas of the Maurienne valley are close by, offering quick access—notably—to the famous Trois Vallées area and its vast slopes via Orelle–Val Thorens (10 minutes), as well as the Galibier-Thabor area (Valmeinier, 20 minutes) and Les Sybelles (40 minutes).
- In fine weather, the region becomes a true paradise for cyclists and enthusiasts of great Alpine mountain passes. Situated at the heart of the world's largest cycling area, our guesthouse is the ideal starting point for tackling legendary climbs such as the Col du Galibier, Col du Télégraphe, Croix de Fer, and Col de l’Iseran, or for exploring the Route des Grandes Alpes.
Whether you come to ski, cycle, hike, or simply have a good time, you will find a simple, authentic, and welcoming atmosphere here—a blend of comfort, nature, and mountains.

We invite you to stay in our self-catering cottage or in one of our three guest rooms, all carefully arranged to ensure tranquility, comfort, and privacy for everyone.

Charming, spacious, and comfortable, all our guest rooms feature a private bathroom (with either a bathtub or shower) and a private toilet.
Offering lovely mountain views, each room boasts its own distinct personality and unique charm, thanks to timeless décor that blends furniture and objects collected over time, reflecting our personal inspirations.
You can also enjoy our tea-time area and the fully equipped communal kitchen, or simply relax in the garden and on the terrace overlooking the mountains. Private outdoor parking is also available for your peace of mind.
The three guest rooms are located on the first floor of the Château.

Cozy and inviting, our guest cottage offers a magnificent view of the mountains.
Located on the ground floor of the château, it has a private entrance and includes:
- a fully equipped kitchen,
- a dining room with a fireplace,
- a living room with a library,
- two bedrooms,
- a shower room,
- a separate toilet,
- a terrace,
- an enclosed garden.

The Maurienne Valley, the longest Alpine valley, stretches for 120 km between Italy and the Isère Valley. Home to legendary mountain passes and the Vanoise National Park, it offers magnificent settings where you can discover the mountains at your own pace, all year round.
In winter, the largest ski resorts are easily accessible just 10 minutes from the château: the 3 Vallées area via the Orelle–Val Thorens cable car, and—about 20 minutes away—the Galibier-Thabor area via Valmeinier.
In the warmer months, the legendary mountain passes of the world’s largest cycling area will be within easy reach: the Col du Galibier, the Col de la Croix de Fer, the Col de l’Iseran…
